- Account information: Email address (for authentication via passwordless email link, Google).

4. Data Storage, Encryption and SecurityTask content (including titles, descriptions, and subtasks) is encrypted within the application before being stored or synchronized with cloud services.
To support multi-device synchronization, encryption keys may be securely managed through backend services and cached locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms provided by the operating system.
Cloud data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions) in secure data centers compliant with ISO/IEC 27001 and GDPR standards.
While we design our systems to minimize access to user content and protect against unauthorized access, CognifyTasks does not currently operate as a zero-knowledge or end-to-end encrypted system.
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
5. Third-Party ServicesWe use trusted third-party services:

6. User RightsYou may:
- Access, correct, or delete your data via in-app support or by emailing us
- Request permanent account deletion (which also deletes associated data in Firestore)
- Revoke notification permissions at any time in device settings
7. Data RetentionWe retain user data only as long as necessary to provide the service or until account deletion is requested.
Deleted accounts and associated data are permanently removed from our databases within 30 days.
8. Children’s PrivacyCognifyTasks is intended for general audiences and not designed for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect data from children. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.
